Formed in 2016, the L.A. Sustainability Leadership Council is co-chaired by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and UCLA Chancellor Gene Block. The Council brings together leaders from across the region, including local and state elected officials, academics, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and corporate executives — who share the common goal of addressing climate change and transforming L.A. into a sustainable megacity.
The mission of the L.A. Sustainability Leadership Council is to harness the diverse expertise of its members to deliberate and strategize on innovative local, regional and statewide sustainability solutions.
