Associate Director of Development
Rachel Scott Foster joined the UCLA Physical Sciences Development team in 2021 as the Associate Director of Development. Her focus is on fundraising for environment and sustainability initiatives at UCLA. Before joining the Physical Sciences team, Rachel worked for UCLA Health Sciences Development fundraising for Orthopaedic Surgery and Rheumatology. Her past work experience includes serving as the National Director of Outreach for an addiction recovery nonprofit. Before starting her career in the nonprofit sector, Rachel used her passion for storytelling as a documentary filmmaker for the Los Angeles Lakers and NFL Network.
Rachel received her BA in Communication Studies from UCLA. In her spare time, she enjoys propagating succulents, practicing Krav Maga, raising money for cancer research, traveling, and scuba diving.
